Terms and Conditions
Reservations/Changes:
Can be made online or by calling (920) 847-2622.
Cancellations/Changes/Refunds:
You can cancel your reservation and collect a refund on your deposit (except for the non-refundable online booking fee and a 5% processing fee) if you make the cancellation 14 days prior to your arrival date. If you do not cancel your reservation within the 14-day period prior to arrival or do not show up, all fees are forfeited. No refunds will be given for inclement weather or early departure.
No Call, No Show:
If you do not occupy your site or cabin the first night and do not notify us, your site will be forfeited the next day at noon and payment in full will be required.
Check In/Check Out:
Check-in time for cabins and campsites is anytime after 2:00 p.m. Check-out is 11:00 a.m. for cabins and 1:00 p.m. for campsites. Please understand we do not have staff to accommodate early check-ins before 2:00 p.m.
Garbage:
All garbage must be removed from your site and placed in the dumpster located at the entrance/exit of the campsite area. Any garbage left at your campsite will result in a $25 pickup fee. Absolutely no chairs, air mattresses, or tents may be disposed of in our dumpster. It is for household bagged trash only.
Occupant's Responsibilities:
The registered occupant assumes all responsibility for the behavior of and/or damages caused by their family members and/or guests. Children must be supervised at all times. Occupants are responsible for their children's behavior or any children left in their care. Uncontrolled or destructive behavior will not be tolerated and may lead to eviction and/or banning from the campground and may be enforced by the Washington Island Police Department if necessary. Each occupant is responsible for maintaining a neat and clean site.
Parking:
Absolutely no parking is allowed along the roadway. Each site is provided with adequate space for one (1) vehicle in addition to the camping unit. Anyone parking in a manner that blocks the driveway of a neighboring site or impedes the flow of traffic must move the vehicle immediately. Guests/visitors must park in the designated parking area by the main lodge. All visitors must leave the campground by 11:00 p.m.
Speed Limit/Safety:
The speed limit within the campground is 5 mph. The use of golf carts, minibikes, scooters, etc. is permitted solely for transportation and not for joyriding around the campground.
Noise/Disturbances:
Please remember the proximity of your neighbors. No excessive noise at any time. Quiet hours are between 10:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. After 10:30 p.m., please turn radios off and keep voices down. Any disturbance that intrudes on another camper is not permitted. This includes damaging property, fighting, screaming, playing loud music, using insulting or obscene language, drunkenness, etc. All fireworks are strictly prohibited.
Personal Injury/Property:
Washington Island Campground, LLC and management shall not be liable for injury to persons or for property loss or damage.
Pets:
Pets are welcome and must be on a leash at all times. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. No pets are allowed in our swimming pond. Pets are only allowed in our Rustic Cabins for an additional $10/night fee.
Smoking:
No smoking of any kind is allowed in our cabins or inside our lodge. A $50 smoking fee will be charged for cabin reservations if this policy is not followed. Please be mindful in outdoor public areas.
Water Usage:
Water is for domestic use only. Washing of vehicles, campers, etc. is not permitted in the campground.
Campfires:
Firewood is available for purchase at the campground. Fires are only permitted within the fire pits provided. Moving fire pits is prohibited. Fire pits are not to be used to burn garbage.
Site Occupancy:
One camping unit (tent, travel trailer, camper, truck camper, conversion van, motor home, etc.) is allowed per campsite. If you would like to place an additional camping unit on your site, it must be approved by campground owners. There is a maximum of 4 adults per site. Dining tents are permitted if space allows.
Payment
MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and AMEX credit cards are accepted methods of payment. Our terms require a one-night deposit to hold the site/cabin for you. The remaining balance will be collected upon your arrival.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement, Disclaimer Notice, and any or all Agreements: "Client," "You," and "Your" refer to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company's terms and conditions. "The Company," "Ourselves," "We," and "Us" refer to Washington Island Campground. "Party," "Parties," or "Us" refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves.
All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect to the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to prevailing U.S. law.
Exclusions and Limitations:
The information on this website is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this Company:

Excludes all representations and warranties relating to this website and its contents, including any inaccuracies or omissions in this website and/or the Company’s literature.

Excludes all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this website, including direct loss, loss of business or profits, damage to your computer, software, systems, programs, data, or any other direct or indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
This Company does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence. The above exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. None of your statutory rights as a consumer are affected.
